How We Use Storage

Unlike traditional websites, Tick Dash does not use tracking cookies to identify you or monitor your behavior across the web. Instead, we rely entirely on browser local storage (localStorage) to enable core app functions.

Essential Local Storage Keys

• countdownTimers: Stores your active timers (Countdowns, Stopwatches, Clocks, and Pomodoro configurations) so they persist between browser sessions.
• theme: Remembers your light mode or dark mode preference.
• cookie-consent: Stores whether you have accepted or rejected our storage banner.
• tickDashSettings: Stores application behavior configurations (such as widget snapping).

Third-Party Services

We use Google Fonts and content delivery networks (CDNs) for static assets. These external services may use temporary cookies or collect basic network usage data according to their own privacy policies. We do not transmit any timer configurations to them.

Managing Storage

You can clear your local storage at any time through your browser's settings. Please note that clearing storage will permanently delete all your customized timers and reset your preferences.
